The yurt was very well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. Great location and easy to get to, my truck made it in 2 wheel drive. Perfect getaway, I will definitely be staying here again.

If you're considering the yurt, you probably already know that it'll take a bit of labor. Grey water, propane, flashlights etc... but it is WORTH it!!! We had such a tremendous time at this special special abode.

Be prepared for the true outdoors! It was exactly what we were looking for and perfect to getaway from the city. The yurt was much larger than you would expect. Make sure to keep it clean for the next people though. It's just like camping but nicer, pack it in and pack it out!

The Sunrise Yurt is a true rustic backwards Idaho experience! While very close to major roadway access and a short quarter mile uphill walk, hike or Snowshoe trip from the road this neat little gem nestled on the side of West Mountain provides the experience of being isolated in the backcountry. The large yurt structure complete with a propane stove and a wood stove with wood, easily sleeps eight to 10 people in a combination of ways from Unk beds to futons. A propane stove and a dry sink complete the needed accommodations. Plenty of windows and a large deck Overlook the hillside in the large lake below. A duel outthouse system, one for number one and one for number two round out the amenities of this little gem nestled in the forest. Ben is a fantastic owner, easily reachable and supportive. His reassurance and guidance made for a very successful adventure!
