Cozy and unique studio apartment in a fabulous near downtown neighborhood! Comes equipped with a full kitchen (stove/oven, sink, microwave) and bathroom. Walking distance to Mass Ave. and a short car ride to downtown attractions. Close to the interstate for easy travel to the surrounding areas. Great for solo travelers, couples, a small group of friends, business travelers, and more!

The space
Unique studio apartment in a quaint home built in 1888. The apartment is in a converted attic space that features sloped ceilings and plenty of space! Has a very comfortable queen bed and a pull out, full sofa bed, and another couch. Features a full kitchen and bath (with shower stall). Abundant closet space with hangers and a hamper provided. We will also stock the kitchen with some basic and complimentary items, such as coffee, tea and filtered water, as well as light snacks, if we have it available (we will try, but don't want to guarantee it). Basic toiletries (soap, shampoo, and conditioner) will be provided.

Guests have access to free parking either in the back of our home or on the street.

We are located in the Windsor Park neighborhood, which is very near downtown. You can walk (approximately 20 minutes) to Mass Ave or take a short Uber/Lyft to downtown and it's attractions. Or, you can walk and enjoy local places such as Centerpoint Brewery and the Circle City Industrial Complex and it's artist complex.

The space is perfect for longer term stays and we would welcome traveling nurses, interns, etc.! We do offer discounts for long term rentals. Please contact me for special pricing. Please note that it is recommended that you contact me at least 4 months in advance of your requirement so that I can make sure that we have availability for the entirety of your stay!

Guest access
Guests have access to our fenced in back yard and parking right in front of the property on the street or behind the house in the alley. You can enjoy our fenced in backyard and can use some of our freshly grown herbs for any meals you plan to cook in the apartment kitchen!

Other things to note
Our home is in an urban area. This is not the suburbs. What does this mean?

We don't have a paved driveway. You can park on the street or behind our house on the unpaved area by our garage. Note that this area becomes muddy when it rains or can be inaccessible by smaller car in the event of snow (city of Indianapolis does not plow alleys).

Our neighborhood is up and coming. It's residents are friendly and are from all walks of life. You will see all types of people when you stay at our house.

Is it safe? I live directly downstairs and have never had a problem in this neighborhood and would certainly not welcome guests to my home if it were dangerous. I recognize that urban neighborhoods aren't for everyone, however.

Our clean, safe, and comfortable studio apartment located in the Windsor Park neighborhood, which is very conveniently located in walking distance to Mass Ave attractions and a short cab ride to downtown Indy and it's attractions. Windsor Park is an up and coming near downtown neighborhood that has a great mix of old and new homes. Some are recently built while others (like ours) were built in the 1880s. There are a few restaurants and a brewery within walking distance of our house and a farmers market is held every Saturday nearby. Grocery stores (Kroger and Needler’s Fresh Market) can be found a short drive away, either in downtown Indy or in Kennedy King.

The neighborhood is generally very safe, and I am comfortable walking in the neighborhood at dark as a female. However, common sense should be used when traveling here as in any other city in the world. Meaning, lock your car doors, hide valuables from sight, and lock the door of the apartment when leaving. Don't make it easy to be a target.

Please note that the majority of downtown area neighborhoods (including ours) are located by freight train tracks. As a result, you will hear the train come through throughout the day/night. Our house is not right next to the train tracks (estimated 0.5 miles away), but if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend that you stay elsewhere.

Hi there! My name is Diana and I work as a consultant. I graduated from Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils!) and am originally from Phoenix, AZ. I am passionate about traveling, volunteerism, scuba diving, pretty much all things that involve being in the water, and hiking. I love my family and friends and doing things with them (cultural activities, shopping, dining out, happy hours, and brunch) My favorite travel destinations: Way too many to choose from and I enjoyed every country or place I have visited, but I did love Saint Lucia, Malaysia, Switzerland, and Thailand. I am a pretty laid back person and love meeting new people. I will offer you a clean, secure, and fully furnished apartment in a really great location near downtown Indianapolis. I expect that anyone that would like to be hosted by me to keep my place nice and orderly, as I left it for you to enjoy! I do travel frequently for work, so I rely on my awesome cohosts a lot (Christie and Bryan are great!). You may meet me or my cohosts during your stay with us, but you may not, depending on schedules. However, we are always a phone call, text, or message through the app away! If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

During your stay
I am very friendly and will interact with my guests whenever possible and if it is their preference. If you would like someone to give you information on the area, I would be happy to provide recommendations on things to do, places to eat/drink, etc. But, if you would prefer some peace and quiet, that is completely fine too. You won't hurt my feelings if you don't want to interact as much :)
