Love the rustic character and the chance to meet other folks traveling to Glacier. It's nice having your own private room with 2 beds and a top bunk. Only complaints are the walls are little thin and shower water pressure could be better, but it's well worth the price. It's not f…

The family room was a bit overpriced for the space and the mattresses were not comfortable, but overall it was a good place to stay near East Glacier and Two Medicine River, the cafe downstairs was really cute and convenient for breakfast.

After hiking the 14 mile Highline, Grinnell overlook & Loop trails we were exhausted. Our family of 5 really enjoyed our first hostel experience right here…….and the beds were very comfortable (of prime importance to us after the hike). I was concerned about the 50 min drive from…

Terry’s place (Brownie’s) is a hostel as expected. No frills and nothing fancy. We did not meet Terry, but he was kind in his communications with us and accommodated our late check in after 11 PM. The room was clean, linens freshly laundered and we had enough privacy. The bed, ho…

Brownies was the perfect launching place for a backpacking trip. Nothing fancy, but had everything we needed for a comfortable place to crash before heading into the backcountry. This is a hostel, not a 5-star hotel, so don’t expect otherwise. It’s an old building with its quirks…

Location and price are great. Wonderful families and people of all ages. I just wish the showers were clean of mold.

This is a brothel. In every sense so if you aren't aware what that is like please research. It wasn't what my family expected so we did not stay here. Hopefully they were able to rent it out so I can receive a refund.

Response from Terry:
I agree that a little research would help hosts avoid negative reviews from people that never actually stayed at the property. A simple Wikipedia search of what type of establishment the listing "Brownies Hostel" might be indicates: "Hostels provide budget-oriented, sociable accommodation where guests can rent a bed, usually a bunk bed, in a dormitory and share a bathroom, lounge and sometimes a kitchen. Rooms can be mixed or single-sex, and private rooms may also be available." Rooms here are quite literally $100 less than the other rooms in the area and are enjoyed by thousands of guests every year that are looking for a budget friendly and more social atmosphere.
