Our group of 4 stayed at Brownies before a 3 day hike in Glacier. You can't beat the location for a pre-trip night. The cafe was closed for the season, but we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful with local tips, especially since we arrived at night in a snow storm. Will definitely come back for more trips to the east side of the park.

Good hostel type accommodation. Minor complaint would be the walls are thin. We could hear every word our neighbours said. The bakery downstairs makes up for it!

We had the family room which was comfy enough for the 3 of us. Expected it to be a bit noisy but not at all, nice and quiet, had a good sleep. So close to Glacier National Park.

Very nice place to stay. Located in the middle of east glacier village. Rooms were comfortable and nice. Bakery downstairs smelled wonderful. Only complaint was the tiny bathrooms and showers. However they were clean and tidy.

This was our first time in a hostel, and it was a great experience. The location is great, the area is great, and the hostel is oozing with history and character. Waking up to the smell of fresh baked goods from the shop downstairs was magical. My husband and I stayed here in the family room with our teenager and it was wonderful- be aware though that the building has signs up very politely asking that people walk lightly and not run- please consider this if you have small children for the benefit of all involved :-) We would definitely stay again if we are back in the area!
