Taigh Solas is a pet friendly, detached, centrally heated, 2 bedroom bungalow on the stunning island of Great Bernera, on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis. The property is positioned on our croft and is securely fenced. There are two double bedrooms, with plenty of storage, a comfortable living room and stunning views across Loch Roag.
The Iron Age House, Bosta Beach, Callanish Standing stones are all nearby.

The space
Great Bernera is ideal for a peaceful and tranquil get away. It is ideal for walkers, cyclists and anyone who loves getting away from the rat race. When the aurora is active, the Northern Lights are seen from most parts of Bernera. Wifi is available in all areas of the property.

Hacklete is a very peaceful village, with stunning views. There is a small jetty just down the road where boats or any watercraft can be launched. The beaches are simply stunning.

We live just down the hill from Taigh Solas so are available when ever we are needed.
During peak season, we can only accept a Saturday check in and Saturday check out.
