Hey, I'm Barbette.
I'm a still life artist and professional cook from an Irish/American family of 9 sisters -all artists! I have been restoring ancient buildings in Tuscany and Somerset, of which Reeves Barn is my most recent project; it is located within lions roar of the Longleat park, but don't panic, the only 4-legged crittures which are likely to appear on your horizon are harmless calves gamboling on the hillside opposite my farmhouse kitchen.
I am a passionate gardener. I used to cook for Justin de Blancs restaurant in Elizabeth Street, London so should you opt for "Barbettes Feast" (a 3-course version served by candlelight or al fresco) give me a days warning and your gourmet requests. Then leave all the rest to me!
