Where you’ll be

Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Dokebi cottage is located at Huam-dong like a old village in the center of Seoul near Namsan. When you come to visit this area , you can feel its vintage style atmosphere with old and rustic houses and visit new rising hipster places like Haebangchon(해방촌) of Huam-dong.
Even people of seoul sometimes don’t know about here. Though it locates in the center of Seoul near Seoul station, it is hidden at uphill along Namsan Park.
Huam-dong was major Japanese residential area during Period of Rule of Japan, surprisingly old wooden houses still remain where japanese once lived.
I love contrast of old narrow streets and fancy huge buildings of Huam-dong. Travelers can easily access to most places of the Seoul/Airport and enjoy the Green of Namsan park and Old fortress wall around here by 5~10 minute walk.
