Our schedule only allowed us to stay for one night, but we loved it. The gravel track was fine for a 2WD saloon. If we get the chance we'll be back to do the Forgotten Highway in the summer. Don't forget to bring your food and drink with you - its a 50 min round trip to Taumaranui :)

Fantastic little farm cabin. Lovely having the animals around. Warm, cozy and comfortable with all the amenities. Ideal stopover location for the Forgotten Highway drive.

Lovely Bach, beautiful countryside, long access track road with collapsed bank in places but we were ok to get through. Very clean tidy and warm

Wonderful scenic and secluded valley. Good base to explore forgotten highway and area, and even the Tongariro Crossing is not too far and a nice drive. Fantastic to be greeted by a warm fire after a long trip, and sunrise walk up the valley, with farm life and incredible birds sounds. The house is new and well equipped, and Kerri and her husband were great hosts. While there is no cell signal, it is only a short drive up the hill if it is really needed, but getting away is really why you would come here.
