The studio is on the ground floor of a stone barn in the courtyard of the main house. It leads onto a private courtyard. There is a tennis court available.
The Stone Barn Studio is part of the Ampney Park Estate, a Grade II listed Jacobean Manor and buildings next to the Church of the Holy Rood parts of which are 1000 years old. Situated in 17 acres of parkland and gardens and a working Equestrian business, this is a newly renovated and charming guest accommodation.
Wonderful walks and a pub/restaurant about 5 mins walk away. Located near the Cotswold Water Park where there is carp and trout fishing, water skiing including a cable ski, a beach, kayaking, sailing and windsurfing. Lots of great gastropubs in the area.
If you are here on a Monday evening between 8 & 9pm You will have the opportunity to watch the bell-ringers as they strive to learn the ancient art of campanology on the Church's bells, some which were cast in the 17th century.
