Lovely little hideaway. Very clean, a comfy bed, two bathrooms and milk waiting in the fridge to make a cup of tea after a long journey! There are two pubs on the seafront within walking distance, both were dog friendly, had good food and a selection of beers.

Jenny & I enjoyed a short break in the flat. We appreciated its rural location (narrow lanes) close to the beautiful coastline around Hope Cove and Salcombe. Nice to be welcomed with flowers.

Lovely and cosy house in a nice location, walking distance to beaches and 10 min drive to Salcombe or Kingsbridge. The bed was really comfortable, like a cloud! Hosts were very respectful of our privacy. Nice little outside table and lovely garden if it's nice weather.

This was our first stay in an air b&b and I think it has given us unrealistic expectations of any future trips. The cottage is absolutely amazing, perfect location, really well furnished, felt at home as soon as you walked through the door. Will definitely be back

The Lair was fantastic in every way. Perfectly located to visit Salcombe, Bantham and Hope Cove and so clean and comfortable. A lot bigger and better equipped than we expected. Sam is a lovely host and made us feel so very welcome. We were thrilled with it and it made our trip

Sam User ProfileSam is a superhost.

I am a fun loving outgoing person, who loves to Gig row, Fish on our boat, take holidays, and spend time with my husband Pete and my two grown up children Lucy and Faye. I love living in the South West and have great ideas of places to visit and walks to take with a few good tea stops along the way. Five things I can't live without :- Tea, Gig rowing, family, holidays and Gin.
