Wonderful 400 year old renovated French house with exposed beams, fireplace, tiled floors and converted attic. Our terrace is our favorite place to sit and enjoy the views or our beautiful valley. Three bedrooms all located in a small, charming French village with 2 cafe/bars, winery and local store.
Entrance to the house is from the street and leads straight into our kitchen dining room. This leads to the sitting room with fireplace and directly onto the the spacious terrace with fabulous views. Up our winding 400 year old staircase is the second level with a separate toilet, and 2 bedrooms with their own sinks and an interconnecting shower. The attic conversion is an open area with its own bathtub, toilet and handheld shower. Our bed is a favorite spot as it is the most comfortable bed and looks out onto the river Cesse. Small children are welcome however they must be supervised as the stairwells and attic are open areas.
Guests can access the terrace and all parts of the house.
Interaction with guests
As this is our holiday home we are usually not available to welcome guests. However we have a lovely couple to make sure you settle in, the beds are made and there is plenty of hot water.
Other things to note
The amenities are all available for our guests use. We do not have an oven as yet but the microwave oven is also a grill and small oven. The house is without a dryer however we find most guests are happy with the sun drying their clothes. The clothes line is on the wall on the terrace in the steel container and very easy to pull out and pop up.

We are Australian and have visited France many times. We are interested in the markets, excellent French food, improving our French by meeting and getting to know French people. We like to paint, art works and David relaxes by playing his guitar.
