Greystone House is just outside of Andrews, located only a couple miles from the Nantahala River, just off highway 19/74. Greystone house has 16 acres of yard and woodland for hiking and play! Very close to the area's attractions including whitewater rafting, and fly fishing.

The space

Shabby chic farmhouse decor in a comfortable place of rest. Greystone has genuine hickory wood flooring throughout the house, Wifi, ADT security system, telephone, directv, and a movie collection. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with a private bathroom. The guest room has a queen sized bed with a private bathroom. The children's room has two twin beds and a book and toy collection. Perfect for families with young children. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and leather recliners. The back patio is covered with a gas grill. We provide complementary coffee and tea.

Guest access

We raised our family here and have shared many meals around the dining room table. We hope you feel as much at home here as we do! Greystone sits on 16 acres of Oak and Poplar forest crisscrossed by a small stream, perfect for little feet to splash in! We often see wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, and white tailed deer.

Interaction with guests

We live close by and can come right over if needed. Feel free to call if there is anything you need at all. We can provide any and all information you might need to know about the area. We can communicate via telephone, email, or text during booking and providing directions. We also have Nantahala On the Fly Guide Service and can provide reservations for fishing, gem mining, and whitewater rafting.

Other things to note

Family owned and operated by Dakota and Jessie Rogers. Jessie enjoys gardening, hiking, archery, and reading. Dakota enjoys fly fishing, hunting, and disc golf. We both enjoy being active in church, traveling, and chasing toddlers around. We have two children named Mayleigh and Braxton. We also have a German Short Haired Pointer named Bruno, a cat named Grey, and two Betta fish named Red Fish and Blue Fish. Life is Good! We are so very blessed!

Everything was more pleasant than I expected, from location, view, amenities and decor! The hosts were some of the nicest people I've met; felt like family! The house is SO roomy with an amazing layout;'perfect for families. In fact, they provided so much for our little ones, that it was like Christmas for them! They even have bibs, baby utensils, and baby gear! Again, there isn't anything that I would change.

Great place, comfortable, spacious and clean. We only stayed 1 night as we were just passing tru but could easily stay a few days. The only reason for the 4 stars is for the mattresses. They weren't very comfortable. But I may be spoiled with my Sleep Number bed.

Response from Jessica:
I'm sorry to hear you did not like the beds. The King and Queen sized mattresses in the master bedroom and guest bedroom are brand new pillow tops. The Twins are more firm as they were intended for a children's room.

We had a wonderful time at Greystone and the home was fantastic. Jessica was extremely responsive to all of our needs before and during our stay. This was our first time in the Smoky's and it left us wanting to come back. No idea why more people don't stay here instead of Robbinsville to ride the dragon. The home is even better than the description and it met and exceeded our expectations. It met the needs of our party of four easily. We will be sharing many stories and hopefully returning in the future :)

We had a great time staying in Topton. The place was clean and comfortable, and close to many of the local attractions including the beautiful Nantahala River. Check-in was easy and painless, and we had what we needed for the stay. The only issue is that there is no railing on the entry steps or the basement stairs, which for most shouldn't be a problem, but my folks are not as sure-footed as they used to be. We were able to use the back door for them which is much easier however. But all in all a great time, with plenty of space.
