WalnutTREEhouse has been built on an old nut tree at 3.5 meters height. The shadow can be enjoyed on the big terrasse even on the hottest day.

The space
Spending the night in the tree house is a singular possibility in the Danube bend. The well-being is provided by kitchen, bathroom and heating on the cold days. Sleeping at the gallery window offers an unexpected view of the nature.

Our home is located in Verőce, Hungary.

This is a nice village by the side of the Danube river, near Budapest. Highway M2 is 50 kilometres from the village, the capital is available by rail, this takes 35 minutes.

A museum, restaurants, a pizzeria, a sweet-shop are all available, however the most attractive entertainment is the riverside.

WalnutTREEhouse is located 1800 metres from the village center, also available by bike or by foot, not only by car.

My name is Emese. Me and my husband, Ferkó, operate our Treehouse together. Out of our five children, our two oldest sons (age 19 and 17) help us as well.
Our family loves travelling and we prefer private accomodation. We like to go to theatre and different members of our family love to build, design, draw, paint, sew things, play music and do handicrafts.
My element is water, especially the Danube; life is unimaginable for me without it. I love the sea as well!
My husband and I are a creative couple. We get thrilled at the sight of an old house, the same way as we get under the spell of an old human face radiating the beauty and wisdom of experience. We are equally inspired by empty spaces and ones that are full of lumber. We furnish them.

Emese vagyok, férjemmel Ferkóval együtt üzemeltetjük a Lombházunkat. Ebben öt gyermekünk közül, a két nagy fiunk (19, 17) is segít.
Családunk nagyon szeret utazni, mi is előnyben részesítjük a magánszállásokat. Szívesen járunk színházba, továbbá az egész család alkot, ki épít, tervez, rajzol, ki zenél, fest, varr, fúr-farag...
Életelemem a víz, leginkább a Duna, enélkül elképzelni sem tudnám. Nagyon szeretem a tengert!
Férjemmel alkotó páros vagyunk. Fellelkesít bennünket egy öreg ház, akárcsak egy sokat megélt, szépségében megöregedett emberi arc. Ugyanúgy inspirál egy limlomokkal teli tér, mint az üres. Berendezzük.
