The view is amazing! The large windows look over the lake with only a few trees off to the side in the view; there's no sight of other buildings between the windows and the lake. The landscaping was immaculate. The cottage was comfortable and spacious enough for us, traveling as one couple and one single. One thing to point out: this is a cottage on a lake and not a luxury high rise condo. It's somewhat remote, with the closest services 15 minutes drive away. When we visited, there were no mosquitoes or flies, just a few friendly spiders. There's no internet, but we had a moderate data connection on our Rogers cell phones (perfect for checking emails and VPN connection).

Nice big clean cabin. Loved the view and the surrounding marshes at the lake. Hosts were friendly. Only regret was swimming was not great due to algae. We stayed in September so earlier in the summer that might not be an issue.

Yes certain times of the year there is algae on Lake of the Prairies. Earlier in the season is usually is better!

Great hosts, beautiful view as promised! A quiet remote area to relax and make memories. Well groomed big yard space for kids to run around and play!
