Luxury glamping in a cosy and magical shepherd's hut with en suite loo, wood burning stove, electric radiator and lovely south facing uninterrupted views across the fields, reflecting the different farming seasons . Warm private shower room with heated towel rail a short walk across the garden. Just 4 miles from the North Norfolk coast at Morston or Blakeney. The perfect romantic break or just to escape to the country. Read a book, play a board game or cards and get cosy on autumn evenings.

The space

The Hut measures 10 x 14 ft and is heated with an electric radiator and also has a wood burner. It sits at the end of our garden in a quiet village, it has a private decked area on the south facing side. There are no cooking facilities in the hut except a toaster, kettle and small fridge but we have a charcoal BBQ (bring your own charcoal) and a small camping stove (one gas cylinder provided and further available to purchase) that can be used outside only. Crockery, cutlery and pans provided. Alternatively there are some great local pubs and cafe's in the area within easy driving or even cycling distance if you bring your bikes, it is also possible to hire bikes from Bakers and Larners in Holt.
Local attraction leaflets, some board games and cards provided for rainy days.

Guest access

You can park your car on our gravelled parking area free of charge.

Interaction with guests

We are most happy to help you with information on the local area we both work during the day but can be contacted by message or phone.

Other things to note

Please be aware that because this is a hut on wheels and at the end of the garden there are steps and a rough bark pathway and limited space within for access including a small cloakroom in the hut making it not very easy for access with poor mobility.

The decking can get slippery in frosty or damp weather there is an AstroTurf type of mat to walk on from the bark path to the hut step, please make sure you take care, also take care on the step into the hut in frosty conditions, we provide a torch on the key ring, there is an outside light by the hut door (switch outside) and the path has low lighting.

Outstanding experience staying in shepherds hut. Perfect. Attention to detail was amazing from the radiator in the shower room to the gas stove to do some cooking on. Cannot rate this more highly.

We just had a fantastic stay in Carolyn's shepherds hut! It's incredibly warm, clean and modern. Carolyn goes the extra mile with personal touches, such as fire wood and biscuits when we arrived. We can't wait to stay again! Only thing that we would say is that due to the beautiful location of the hut (looking out over a farmer's field), it is very noisy in the wind, so I would recommend some ear plugs!

The Hut was gorgeous - exactly what we wanted for a couple's getaway. Everything had been thought of including a personal note in the room. Extremely friendly and very thoughtful touches. Very close drive to amazing places (Blakeney, Wells, Cromer). Looking forward to going back another time! Thank you very much!

This is the most amazingly comfortable and cosy place with no wifi or, sometimes, phone signal. The view is lovely and it is the perfect place to relax. Super clean and cared for with lovely linen and accessories. We shall be back.

Tim and I live near the sea in North Norfolk and love to spend time at the coast on our boats or walking or going out with friends. We have a black Labrador Mr Flint who is very much part of the family. Our children are grown and both work and live in London. We love to travel…
