Great place for a romantic getaway. Watch the sunrise, walk the beach, collect shells, or kayak the bay watching for sea life. A short drive north takes you to Santa Rosalia built by the French hosting a church designed by Gustave Eiffel. To the south is the lovely Mulege and Bahia Concepcion with stunning beaches. Whale watching tours and an ancient cave painting tour available nearby. There is a quaint seafood restaurant down the beach and a little cafe open in the evenings across the street.

The space
The apartment is private. The area is safe. And, the local people are very friendly.

Guest access
In addition to the apartment you have a private balcony overlooking the sea and marina. The laundry room below in the metal building is available for your needs.

Other things to note
1. You will have to climb stairs.
2. We occasionally hear music from a local celebration late into the night, usually on holidays.
3. We feed hungry neighborhood dogs so you may see several on the property. Some are shy, all are safe. The friendliest is the lab looking dog, Lady. The dogs will frequently walk with you. They are usually quiet but can have bouts of night barking.
4. We assist in collecting funds to feed school aged children breakfast through a local church. This program can be found on Facebook, Good Morning San Bruno. Let me know if you are interested in making a donation to feed the children. If we are not present please give your donation to Carlos as he manages the donation fund.
5. Lastly, our cleaning staff always appreciates a tip.

Location

San Bruno, Baja California Sur, Mexico

Set in a quiet, safe, authentic fishing village is Villa San Bruno located on a little hill above the marina. The village has friendly people and several small grocery stores. Our beach home has two fully furnished apartments on the top level while we live below most of the year. Our area boasts of the best yellowtail fishing in the Baja at the island across from us. Naturalists enjoy the variety of whales, porpoise, fish, seals and occasional whale sharks in the bay. Our sea kayak is available at no charge. Our guests also enjoy walking the beach to collect shells and unique driftwood. Carlos and Nancy run a small cafe across the street in the evening for take out. And Nancy's mother, Angelita, has a neighborhood store across the street.

I love people and value good relationships. I recently retired from a career in social work to enjoy a peaceful and lovely life in the Baja. And while hosting comes natural to me I know how to give my guests the privacy they need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. I love family, friends, and the loving presence of God, especially experienced in worship at my Redding Ca. church. I enjoy children, helping people, walks on the beach with my husband collecting shells, rocks, and driftwood. I love photographing sunrises and sunsets, jet skiing, boating, whale watching, a good movie, travel, restaurants with live music, and playing games while listening to oldies with a glass of wine.
