Great location, directly across Gulf Blvd from the 123 Street beach access with Boca Ciega Bay behind. Your home is a newly refurbished, full sized one-bedroom apartment with all the amenities, including a sleep sofa for the occasional guest. Treasure Island is a boaters paradise with plenty of activities to choose from, like fishing, swimming and sunning. Walk the beach or to restaurants and shopping at nearby John's Pass. Golf year round nearby. Off street parking available for one vehicle.
The apartment is one of four on the property. The parking space is right next to the apartment and additional parking is almost always available on the street.
We have tried to think of everything you might want to make your stay enjoyable - sand chairs, beach towels, cooler, bar-b-que, covered patio seating, pots and pans and dishes in the kitchen, bedding, towels, blowdryer, cable tv in the living room and another in the bedroom, wifi, a super comfortable sleep sofa in case you have a guest sleep over... but do please let us know if you think we have overlooked anything.
Cross Gulf Blvd to find one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Beach Access is less than 200 yards from your front door. A boardwalk takes you over the dunes to a big expanse of soft white sand leading to sparkling clear turquoise water - which is never too cold for swimming - at least for me! The beach goes on for miles, and depending upon the time of year is great for shell collectors. You will love the beautiful sunsets, and almost certainly will see dolphin swimming by.
Boca Ciega Bay is one block behind us, with public use access from nearly every street on our island: a public boat launch at 123 Street; a lovely bench looking out to the bay from 122nd; a small fishing pier at the end of 121st.
Walk over the bridge to John's Pass in Madiera Beach for shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. But before you do, stop in at Gators to enjoy the waterfront bar, or a bite to eat.
Live music can be found all over the island - some of our favorite places are Ricky T's and KaTiki on Sunset Beach - our beach is called Sunshine Beach.
You can walk the beach to so many great places that you will find that it is not really necessary to have a car. Free Beach Ride and Uber will bring you home if you are too tired to walk home.
We are a great home base for baseball fans, only 8 miles from Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays, and have 6 Grapefruit League Spring Training fields nearby.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have and look forward to welcoming you to Treasure Island!
