Sarah and Ron were wonderful hosts, who gave great suggestions for local walks and drives. The cottage was rustic, and had everything we needed for a peaceful weekend away including cookware and comfy couches. The view out the back of the property was phenomenal, and was made even better eating fresh oranges off the tree! Thanks Sarah and Ron :)

We enjoyed our stay, including the great view from the outdoor deck, the shifting coloured light of the evening sky. Ron welcomed us very warmly and we had all we needed in the wooden upstairs 'cabin'.

A delightful place to stay built with timber and with love by Ron. Comfy and cosy and with some similarities to Swiss style accommodation. Ron and Sarah are both very welcoming with Ron in particular providing a wealth of historical and environmental info about this beautiful area which he so obviously loves. The view from the property is mesmerising. We were lucky to be there just after some fresh snow falls which covered the mountains in the distance - just like the pictures had us believe would be the case. Amazingly beautiful.

Stayed here with friends on the way up to Thredbo. Great place, Ron was very helpful in letting us know of places to go on the way up the mountain. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Sarah and Ron's place. The cottage had a very nice interior design, perfectly kept warm on that cold night. Ron made everything easy, gave us helpful suggestions for skiing that we plan to, led us to enjoy the picturesque view at the back. Thanks for your great hospitality.

Ron and I moved to Towong in 1980 and have never thought to leave. We built our home and 2 cottages in a unique style of log and bat and board. They cottages are cozy and homey. We love the life style and beauty here and love sharing it with everyone who comes to stay.
