If you'd love to have a distant bird's eye view of the city lights , yet stay just far enough away that fireflies and stars are all you see, this is the place for you! If you are coming into town on business, connect to our wifi and do it in comfort. If you are coming into town to vacation or visit family, unplug and enjoy the sights and sounds of country living.

The space
Located in the Boston Hills, this apartment is a serene country getaway. An easy drive to downtown Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Holiday Valley and Kissing Bridge Ski Resorts, Chestnut Ridge Park, Woodlawn Beach, Buffalo's new "Canalside" area, Ellicottville Adventure Park, Lake Erie Fishing/Boating, Hunting areas, New Era Football Stadium, Coca Cola Field, First Niagara Center, Seneca and Hamburg Casinos, Darien Lake and the Canadian Border. Several State Parks, Golf Courses and Wineries...all within an hour drive. There are grocery stores, drug stores, major department stores, movie theaters and numerous restaurants also nearby. The Buffalo airport is 24 miles away, the train station 22 miles.

Bring your bike and enjoy the challenge of riding the Boston Hills. But don't forget your helmet! Some of the hills are pretty steep!

Guests also have occasional use of our outdoor grill, a picnic table and a hammock. We also offer off street parking for up to two vehicles. Private Entrance. Cable TV and WiFi. There are three small window air conditioners installed for the summer months. All appliances including laundry facilities (detergent and fabric softener not provided)

If you're visiting us in summer or fall, we may invite you to join us at the fire pit for a bonfire and Smores. We're always hanging around outside. If you're visiting in December, you might find a Christmas tree in the living room to help get you in the holiday spirit while you're away from home! Bring your cross country skis or snow shoes with you as there is plenty of space right on our property to make use of them and a county park just 12 short minutes away!

Rick makes his own wine and often offers our guests a few samples of his newest concoction if he has one available.

Although we are not fully handicapped equipped, we do have a permanent handrail in the bathtub and can add an elevated toilet seat or shower chair in the bathroom for your visit. If you need this little "extra", please let us know prior to your arrival.

*We have updated our Wifi (12/2020) with an eero system. The apartment receives an average reading of 180mbps on the download, and 10.7mbps on the upload....just in case you need to work from home while you’re in town!

*A queen size air mattress will be provided for over 4 guests.

My husband and I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world. It is our way of learning about other cultures and customs and making new friends.

I enjoy photography, bike riding, traveling, writing, dancing, working out, meditating, long walks, and taking a slow ride on the back of my husband's motorcycle (Sounds like a corny (Website hidden by Airbnb) ad! ) I'm an aspiring writer and have been journaling for over twenty years. I'm especially fond of journaling my dreams as I have also worked in the dream research field for several years. I am an ordained Wedding Officiant in the state of NY so if you want to get married while you're here........I may be available to officiate your elopement! :)

My husband is enjoying his retirement by hunting, tinkering in the garage, making wine and playing his keyboards with his country band "Barnstorm". If you happen to get lucky enough to be in town when he's got a local gig lined up, you should come out to see him play!
