We purchased the unit in June and since then we have been working with architects, contractors and HOAs in order to replace the atrium roof. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the work has had multiple delays and now has been delayed until August. We have had someone coming in on a monthly basis to try and patch any leaks that we are notified about. The leaks are only in the atrium and tend to run down the walls which is causing the peeling between the paint and the concrete wall. There is no drywall in the area of the atrium where the leaks are and I have an independent care taker come to review the unit each week and have not been informed of any mold. I truly appreciate all guests who inform me of issues as it allows me to take action to fix them.
In regards to the paper towels and soaps. I notify all of our guests that a starter supply of all paper goods and soaps is supplied and depending on your usage, you may need to purchase additional supplies. The starter supply includes what any hotel would offer upon your arrival: a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, each bathroom has a roll of toilet paper plus an additional roll under the sinks. We offer a bar of hand soap for each sink and a bar of bath soap and shampoo and conditioner for each bath as well as a container of dish washing soap and dish washer soap.
The unit sleeps a maximum of 5 people and we set out a set of 4 towels between the two bathrooms and have an additional 4 sets of towels in a closet. We do not offer daily cleaning however there are laundry machines in the bathroom to use if more towels are necessary.
We want everyone's vacation experience to be the best and work hard to address any concerns people may have when they let us know of an issue. We will be reaching out to Dan to learn more about his experience and hopefully remedy the leaks and such he mentioned. We also appreciate your understanding that we truly have been working on a permanent solution to replace the roof completely.
