Welcome to the historic part of Enkhuizen! Build in 1582 and officially registered as a national monument, our house is located in the most historic part of the city right next to the canals, restaurants, cafés and museums. The top floor of the iconic building is a fully renovated loft for our guests. The loft offers views on both the old harbour and the Markermeer, as well as Enkhuizen's icon 'the Dromedaris'. We look forward welcoming you in our house and show you the hidden gems of our city!

The space
You enter the building via the big door on the street-side, then take the stairs to the second floor to enter your loft.

The loft includes a relax sitting area with things to do, tips and various magazines. There is coffee and a tea kettle for you to use and a variety of teas. You cool your wine in your own refrigerator and drink it in the sitting area, which offers a view on Enkhuizen's icon 'the Drommedaris' and is perfect for your afternoon rest moment.

Your loft has a closed off sleeping and bathroom area.

Your private bathroom includes a luxury rain shower and floor heating, plenty of fresh towels and soap for you to use.

Your bedroom is a spacious room, including a queen-size bed, a dresser and plenty of room to store your baggage. With views on both the old harbour as well as the Markermeer you can't wish for a better way to start your day!

Looking for a 3/4 person stay - jus send us a message. We have a comfortable two persons air bed available for guests who want to come with 3 or 4 people. The air bad will be placed in your relax area.

Guest access
You are free to use our spacious garden as much as you want.

Other things to note
As one of the few houses in the city center of Enkhuizen we have storage space for your bikes.

Don't forget that Enkhuizen is only a 50-minute train ride away from Amsterdam!

Enkhuizen, Noord-Holland, Netherlands

Our street is part of Enkhuizen's "Venice", one of the most photographed area's of the city. The famous bottle ship museum (even visited by the Dutch King and Queen) is found right next door, and our house is right between three harbors! The Zuiderzee Museum is only a 5 minute walk away. Are you on the hunt for great food? Lucky you, the best restaurant of Enkhuizen (awarded with a Gault & Millau) is our neighbour just like the best terrace of the city, so you will be well fed when you leave our house!

During your stay
We will be at home during your stay and love to meet new people, but it's up to you if you feel like interacting with us. We will be working during the day and when we're home we will mostly reside in the garden and on the ground and first floor.
