Great location and lots of space. Tim was very communicative. The listing stated that there would be air conditioning through the entire house. There was only one window unit in one of the upstairs bedrooms. We communicated to the host that this would be an issue in today's heat …
Response from Tim And Pam:
Jason, Thanks for the feedback. I wish you would have asked for me to correct any cleanliness issues, as we use April Lane's Cleaning (the Airbnb provided cleaner) and I would have had someone over pronto to correct. Your comments on the air conditioner are just not accurate, as you extrapolated only what you wanted disclosed. I even offered to purchase and have delivered a portable air conditioner downstairs and you declined. The cost is on par with oth (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) homes in the red hot Seattle market in the summer time for a spacious furnished home with all utilities including cable/internet paid for with off street parking for less than $250 a day that will sleep 6 easily, I totally disagree with you on being over priced. Here's the complete message I wrote to you, besides the phone conversation we had in which I reiterated this. Seattle is going through a record heat wave with the most 90+ days in history. Nothing can be done about that! The house is exactly as advertised and has just the upstairs room air conditioner as noted. Almost nobody in Seattle has air conditioning of any sort. I made the air conditioner situation very clear in our correspondence as you will see if you look back to both our responses below on July 24th and I made the same response to your inquiry on the other site. That said, I should have left the windows open and you would not have arrived to a hot house, my apologies. I was more concerned about "Seattle rain" coming in if I left them open, silly me! If after opening windows and turning on and leaving on the air conditioner upstairs didn't remedy the situation (it was in the 60's last night so you should have experienced a dramatic cool down) I will purchase and have delivered a portable air conditioner for the downstairs. We can discuss today.
We have 2 terrific boys age 5 and 1 and a pair of dogs. We love travelling, dining out, independent films and documentaries, a wide range of music and art and living the do it yourself lifestyle.
