We had a fantastic stay here. Height of luxury, we wish we could of stayed longer. The kids had a ball playing in the garden. We visited Loughcrew Cairns, which the whole family loved. Also Dublin zoo. Will stay again. Many thanks Lisa and family :)

We enjoyed our stay with Lisa and Andy very much. The cottage is beautiful, and the surrounding countryside is lovely and peaceful. In addition it is quite close to several attractions, including Trim Castle, Slane Castle ( great restaurant!), Newgrange etc... I enjoyed cooking on the Aga, and the tea and scones on arrival were a nice touch. Thanks Andy and Lisa!

This was the BEST experience we have ever had in the 5 years we have been using Airbnb. Lisa and Andy are wonderful hosts. We arrived late in the night and they both waited for us to arrive to showed us around and welcome us to their home. Communication with them was fast and easy as they live on the property. There was a cottage handbook with all the necessary information, including suggestions for trips, restaurants and shopping near by. Lisa left us a lovely care pack of fresh milk, butter, bread, scones and cookies, tea and coffee! The cottage is simply lovely, and you will fall in love with as soon as you walk in the door. The kitchen and dinning area are large and spacious. I loved having my coffee each morning while watching the bunnies in the yard from the large deck. We loved the AGA stove! I made French toast for our son every morning on it and my husband cooked most nights with it. We even roasted a whole chicken in it! The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms and shower we lovely. The cottage has everything you could possibly need. It felt like staying at home! We stayed at the cottage for a week and used it as our base for our stay in Ireland. It only took us about 40 minutes to drive into Dublin and we went 3 different days. We also drive out to Northern Ireland (1hr 50 minutes) to Belfast for a day trip. The other days were spent checking out other local towns and areas (Kells and Laughcrew were highlights). It was also nice to spend time in the cottage relaxing. The property is green and lush and we enjoyed taking a few walks at night while our son played with the kids. I would definitely recommend this cottage to everyone and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for a wonderful stay:-)

Recently stayed in Robinstown Lodge for a family wedding nearby. House was perfect location. Having a small baby, it was fantastic to have full cot and high chair available - one less thing to pack! The homemade scones and jam on arrival were a lovely touch and our hosts could not have been more helpful, but also gave us our privacy. Would highly recommend for family's and couples - great location in beautiful countryside with brilliant hosts.

I stayed with my family in Robinstown Lodge for 2 nights in August 2017 and I would have no hesitation in recommending it as an excellent place to stay for someone looking for a quiet, peaceful rural place to stay with easy access to Meath and to Dublin. My wife and I and our two small kids were on a short break in the area. We live abroad in China. The house was extremely comfortable. Our kids loved the big back lawn and they spent most of their time playing out there in the evening. After we finished our sightseeing for the day, it was a wonderful way to end the day, sitting out on the open porch with a glass of wine. Our hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. They went beyond the call of duty in terms of settling us in, showing us how to use the equipment and recommending local places of interest that we were not aware of before. We had never used an AGA cooker before but it was very easy once Lisa talked us through it and it was a really enjoyable experience. The whole property has a real rural agricultural atmosphere but with all the facilities and comfort that you would want. As for the surrounding area, we spent one day visiting Tayto Park and Newgrange (one for the kids and one for the parents!). Both were wonderful experiences and were within easy driving distance from our base in Robinstown Lodge. The other day we went for an amazing walk up to the Loughcrew Cairns. This is much less famous than Newgrange but we found it much more authentic. The kids were really able to explore the passage tomb, unlike at Newgrange where it was a very 'heritage centre' experience. Apart from that, we just relaxed in the house. The kids had a ball on the swings and the climbing wall. There were some interesting books in the house and my wife learned a lot about Irish history. It was a bit rainy the second day and a bit chilly in the evening so we threw some logs in the stove in the living room and it was so cosy. Overall, it was a wonderful short break, which the whole family thoroughly enjoyed. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. Five stars.
