NoPotel is a newly built, contemporary space nestled in NoPo (that's North Portland for out-of-towners) in the hip, laid-back St. Johns area. We've designed this work/live space with you and your comfort in mind. It's just a short walk to coffee shops, cafés and bars.

The space
WHAT'S INSIDE
On a work trip? No problem. You have outlets a-plenty, TV and wifi to stay plugged in. Wanting to unplug? That's easy, too. We provide an air-pop popcorn machine for a cozy stay-in movie night selected from our Amazon movie library. Or pick up one of our books or participate in our book exchange (leave one if you take one). Don't pack a bunch of clothes because you have an all-in-one laundry machine at your disposal! This contemporary, air-conditioned/heated sanctuary is loaded with all things cozy and soft. Super soft throws, cozy bedding, and warm, local timber under your feet. Did we mention the art? NoPotel is chock full of local art highlighting our beloved landmarks and culture.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
We love our PDX culture! In true Portlandian fashion, there's a strong sense of community in our hood, so don't hesitate to introduce yourself to our neighbors.

TASTE OF PORTLAND
Your host is a local naturopath. So the space is equipped with only the best, Doctor-approved products. We provide locally roasted beans from St. John's coffee roasters, all the fixins and a coffee press. The kitchen is fully equipped with spices, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper grinders, and non-GMO corn kernels. Grab a fresh, local salmon at the nearby store, get some veggies at our farmer's market and bring it back to cook on your gas stove/oven.

Guest access
The entire guest suite and small deck is full access. You may be greeted by 3 howling geriatric huskies from behind their fence. Our light furred blue eyed girl is named Tusk. Our dark furred one blue and one brown eyed girl is named Kiska.

St. John’s has a rich and colorful history. It’s nestled about 10 mins north of the big city, 1.5 hrs from the coast, and 45 mins - 1.5 hrs from wine country, Mount Hood, and hiking/wine tasting in the Gorge. Although, not recommended doing hiking and wine tasting together! We’ve seen our small town of St. John's come alive over the past 10 years. There are pizza shops, coffee shops, bars, eateries, food carts, clothing consign shops, antique shops, and niche shops. There are three incredible classic Pacific NW parks within walking distance. We have two movie theaters in walking distance. One of the famous McMenamin's is here in town and offers dinner while you watch a movie. Every Saturday during seasonal months there's a Farmer's Market in the square where farmers, local artisans, musicians, and neighbors gather to mingle, eat and share their bounty.
