Our private 2 bedroom suite with amazing views of Mt. Diablo is located in a suburb of San Francisco and Berkeley called Lafayette in the East Bay. We neighbor Walnut Creek and are close to Hwys. 24/680.

We are a 5-8 minute drive to the Lafayette BART station. San Francisco is a 25 minute train ride and when there is no traffic a quick 30 minute drive to downtown SF (with traffic add another 15-20 minutes).

CAL or St. Mary's College bound? We are about 15-20 minutes away.

The space
This clean and sanitized no-smoking (smoking and vaping allowed outside patio area) 700 square foot 2-bedroom guest suite offers a private getaway for those visiting the San Francisco Bay Area. Lafayette is out of the Bay Area fog belt and is much warmer and sunnier than San Francisco during the summer. Easy access to the wine country is under an hour, and great hiking and biking trails are within minutes.

Visiting family in Rossmoor? We are minutes away. Cal Berkeley and St. Mary's colleges are nearby as well. Deemed as one of the safest towns in California, Lafayette will not disappoint you.

We provide 2 private bedrooms, a full bath with a shower/tub combo with extra tall shower head, a den with couch and 55” cable HDTV with all premium channels like HBO, Showtime, etc. as well as PAC12 and ESPN sports packages. Much like a hotel, we have no full kitchen, however we do have a microwave, mini-fridge, electric tea kettle, toaster and a Keurig coffee maker. No laundry service. We do have forced air heating and air conditioning. Free on street parking available for those with a car. No Parties please.

Bedroom #1 is a spacious room with a comfortable King size bed as well as a large corner desk for those business travelers. Free WiFi is provided. Have an infant? No worries as we have a travel crib for your use. Just let us know and we will place it in this room.

Bedroom #2 is smaller but offers a Queen bed with a wonderful, comfortable memory foam topper and plush bedding. A view of Mt. Diablo greets you with each passing of the window.

Sandwiched between these two private bedrooms is a modern full size bathroom complete with a shower/tub unit with extra high shower head for those tall folks.

Depending on the weather, enjoy lounging outside on the patio set on the deck with your morning cup of coffee enjoying the beautiful view of Mt. Diablo or a quick game of one of the many board games available.

We are in a quiet residential neighborhood which has a direct view of Mt. Diablo from your deck and patio area. We are a quick 5 minute drive into downtown Walnut Creek with great shopping - Nordstrom, Nieman Marcus, Macy's, Pottery Barn, etc. as well as a great nightlife and restaurant scene. St. Mary's College in Moraga, Berkeley and Oakland are a short 15-20 minute drive away.

We are active in the community and volunteer with many organizations. In fact, Brian is on the Executive Board of Directors with the local Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and has been involved with the ever popular Lafayette Art & Wine Festival held in September each year, since 2001.

This 2 bedroom guest suite is attached by a common wall downstairs via a locked door. It is completely private from us. We are around most of the time and would love to meet you if you wish.
You can come and go as you please. We also can recommend restaurants and activities in the area during your stay to make your visit that much more special.
