Large, historic house built in 1820 located on a working farm in Ashford! 18 min to UConn, 20 min to Willimantic, 25 min to Brimfield, 30 min to Hartford. Situated on 40+ acre livestock farm and woods with the Mount Hope River running through the middle. Only minutes away from the Yale Forest and State parks.

This is a beautiful house in a fairly secluded area with lots of natural beauty nearby. I highly recommend the Turner Pond Trail which is about five minutes away and favorite nursery ever visited - Sean Patrick Plants also 5 minutes’ drive.

Great hosts, and beautiful old house. They were totally direct about the bedrooms being cold, but with proper pajamas and a fine duvet we were comfortable. We did not even have to use the space heater they provided. Less rugged folks might wait for warmer weather. Also a sweet an…
