Nestled in a quiet street near town, Rockwood Cottage boasts fresh, new furnishings with luxurious king size bed. Built in 2018 it has a modern, comfortable interior and well equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and unlimited wifi . Continental breakfast supplies including toast breads and spreads, cereals and fruit. The north facing deck has mountain views and landscaped grounds entice you outside. A short drive to the township and of course the beautiful Lake Te Anau.

The space
This cottage is a cosy 40 square metres with everything you need!
Enter the cottage by a sliding door off the deck and the cute lounge/dining/kitchen is blended together with the laundry hidden in the same room behind roller doors. Walk through a small hallway into a generous sized bedroom with luxurious King size bed. A compact en-suite with shower, basin and toilet is off the bedroom.
A heat pump combined with good insulation and double glazing keeps the cottage nice and warm during cooler days. A washing machine, outdoor clothesline and drying rack supplied for your laundry purposes.There is no clothes dryer.
A Smart TV and unlimited wifi are available for your entertainment and a Pioneer Bluetooth speaker ready to pair your device to play your favourite music.

We moved from Auckland to Te Anau in 2017 and now live on a rural lifestyle block less than 10 minutes drive from town. We built Rockwood Cottage closer to town to offer couples and single travellers a modern, clean, self check-in experience with Airbnb.
