Ty Traeth is a comfortable, stylish beach front house and offers the ideal base for your perfect holiday, summer or winter. If you are into surfing or any other water-sports, this lovely property is perfectly located to experience the beautiful Cardigan Bay. It's an "upside-down" house with the living room upstairs and the bedrooms on the ground floor. Ty Traeth comfortably sleeps 4 guests. Both double bedrooms are bright and spacious. Pet friendly.

The living area has a comfy sofa for three and a big armchair, plus a foot stool. We have a dining area with new table & high back leather chairs. Just installed, is a new widescreen TV & Blueray plus FREE WIFI. If you don't fancy staying inside, head out on to the balcony to bask in the sunshine and take in the beautiful views.

Whether you are looking for adventure, or a relaxing break away from it all, you will find everything within easy reach. Snowdonia National Park is just a stone throw away, with the stunning Cader Idris only a 10 minute drive from the property.

As well as a fantastic sea front location and views towards Bardsey Island & The Llyn Peninsula, the beach house is also only 5 minutes walk away from the town centre, with all amenities including a doctors surgery, restaurants, pubs, shops, cinema and more.

Upstairs contains the fully fitted kitchen with a superb 5 ring range cooker; double oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, cooker, kettle and toaster. The spacious lounge with a feature fireplace is bright and spacious with carpeted floor. It has a 3 seater sofa, big armchair and big footstool. There is a Sony TV, DVD, Blue Ray, feature fire place and best of all, a balcony with stunning sea views. The ground floor contains two large double bedrooms one with a king size bed. Both bedrooms have new quality wood wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside tables. The double bedroom has a sink/vanity unit. The bathroom also on the ground floor, has a glass shower screen a new shower over the bath. Of the rear bedroom is a sunroom with large picture window overlooking the garden. There is also a travel cot & high chair available.

Outside there is a good sized garden patio with brand new stainless steel kettle BBQ, 2 x sun loungers, 2 X deck chairs a glass top table and 6 lounger type chairs ideal for sunbathing and al fresco dinning. The beach is right in front of the garden and the garden enjoys the sun all day until sunset. There is a driveway to the front of the property with parking for two cars plus off road parking for more. Dogs are welcome on the beach, except in the restricted area.

Other things to note
The property comfortably sleeps 4 people, but we can accommodate 5 if you bring your own camp bed or mattress, bedding provided and £35 per person surcharge applies.

Short breaks when available: Monday-Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. There is a minimum charge of £299 for any stay.

Prices inclusive of energy, wifi, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels. Cleaning fee of £39 applied to each booking.

If you'd like to bring your pet, we require details of their age and breed before accepting and there will be a £25 per dog supplement.

Changeover day is SATURDAY in the main season.

Tywyn has a sunny west-facing Blue Flag; sandy beach. Don;t miss the spectacular sunsets over the bay. From early Spring through till Autumn, dolphins and porpoise can be spotted close to the shore, an amazing sight to see! Its not unusual to see them on a daily basis in pods of up to 20. Tywyn is possibly the only place on the West Coast where you can park for FREE virtually right on the beach. There is level access to the town where there are supermarkets, shops, cafes, banks, a post office, cinema, health centre, hospital, several churches, leisure centre and an indoor swimming pool. Just 5 minutes drive is the picturesque harbour village of Aberdovey, with the famous Aberdovey Golf Course plus several good restaurants & pubs.For watersport enthusiasts and visitors with families there are uncrowded, sweeping, sandy beaches in Tywyn or Aberdovey (just a few minutes away). Depending on the conditions, Tywyn is a focal point for surfers kayakers. Aberdovey is a well known wind surfing sailing centre. Jet skiers are welcome in both resorts. Fishing trips can be arranged in Tywyn & Aberdovey all year round. This area is full of history dating back to pre-historic times. Just get slightly off the beaten track on the dozens of public footpaths and you will come across standing stones, stone circles, abandoned farmhouses, castles ancient churches.Places within a just few miles NOT TO BE MISSED: Aberdovey, lovely old fishing village, GOLF & SAILING haven, with many good restaurants, pubs coffee (URL HIDDEN) Cadvans Church in Tywyn dating back 1500 years with the Cadvan Stones, which are apparently the oldest known inscriptions of the Welsh language.Dolgoch Falls, spectacular waterfalls and woodland walk, look out for fairies and witches! Cregennan Lake near Arthog, stunning location, with views of the Mawddach Estuary. The Barmouth Bridge, built by Brunel. You must walk over it and enjoy the Mawddach, then explore Barmouth, with excellent beaches and the harbour. There are good shops, numerous coffee shops & pubs. The Last Inn & Davey Jones Locker are particularly good. Cader Idris & Llyn Cau, most walkers agree is more scenic than Snowdon. The Bearded Lake above Aberdovey, mystical place of legends, with amazing view of the Dovey Estuary.The Dysynni River reed beds. A wild life haven for geese, ducks and herons. Fishing with a permit. Bird Rock. 500 years ago the sea came up to the rock, but the Cormorant still breed here. Also, look out for the ruined Iron Age fort near the top of the rock. Tal-y-llyn Lake, just beautiful! With all this and so much more, you can make a holiday to suit yourself.
