Old Town meets Downtown. 800 sq ft casita is quiet, private, clean, and spacious. 500 sq ft back garden is shaded by a huge tree and has a lawn, water feature, deck, and high walls for privacy. Walk to cafes, dining, groceries, parks, museums. Just a 3 min drive to I-25 and I-40 and 5-10 mins to airport.

I live in a house at the front of the property that shares one adjoining, soundproofed wall with your casita (my spare room and laundry room/ your kitchen and dining room). The casita has a private entrance and garden and is set far back from the street: really quiet.

This is a highly sought-after location. The street was voted “Best Street to Live” by Albuquerque residents and is located right where Old Town and Downtown meet. This is one of very few pedestrian-friendly areas in the city: you can walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries, spas, shopping, parks, museums, the grocery store, the farmers' market, and public transport. Additionally, the airport is just a 5 to 10 minute drive and both I-25 and I-40 are a 3 minute drive.

I came to Albuquerque from England 20 years ago and never left! I know this city like the back of my hand, have a Master's degree in Southwest Studies, and love to share my insights on local history, culture and places to visit.

All are welcome here. Solo female travelers can feel comfortable renting from another woman (as well as knowing that the windows and doors have security bars). Couples will find the space to be very private and quiet, yet still walking distance to great restaurants. I am active in the New Mexico film scene and love hosting visiting industry folks. The property is well suited to long term rentals as it has a large fridge, washer and dryer, off street parking and lots of storage space.

After giving you a warm welcome, showing you around the property and sharing info about Abq, I will give you complete privacy. I will be available throughout your stay should any problems arise.
