We are located 2 miles from the center of downtown Lees Summit, John Knox Village, the Amtrak station, and less than a 25 minute drive to most places of interest in Kansas City Metro (12 miles to International House of Prayer).

Originally from Western NY State, now living in the great Mid West. I am married to an amazing woman, Kris. Family is very important to us. We have a large family; college or in their own homes at this stage of our lives.

We enjoy being outdoors, doing... anything really. My preference is "the mountains". Kris's preference is "the beach" (Cape Cod is the fav). So, we "do" both... enjoying them together and seeing each other come alive in our element. I enjoy adventure films, Kris enjoys romance films. Again we do both, together. We love to enjoy great food in a beautiful setting... which fuels our activities (outdoors) to stay fit. We regularly enjoy relaxing hangout times with family and friends, and look forward to meeting people everywhere we go. We enjoy travel. Our biggest adventure (so far) was 3 weeks in Italy for our 25th wedding anniversary (coastal and mountains, of course). We also enjoyed 10 days in CA, driving up US1 from LA to SanFran (ocean coast) and made our way to Yosemite (mountains) with all our children. Such great memories.

We started using Airbnb in the summer 2015 and really enjoyed the home-like feel and meeting new people. Now, we would like to share our apartment and hospitality with you in the same way.
