Location

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

This low-rise, heritage controlled neighbourhood has many fitness resources (TaiChi centre, outdoor roller/ice skating oval, Olympic size swimming pool, bouldering cafe). There are lots of good cafe's and restaurants nearby. The LGBT community can be found at Menz & Mollyz Bar around the corner on Gottingen. There is a craft brewery, artisanal delicatessen and many artist run galleries and shops nearby. And nothing in downtown Halifax is more than a comfortable walk away so the list of things to do includes deep sea fishing, whale watching and sailing cruises on the Halifax Waterfront, theatre, live music, pubbing and clubbing in the downtown and lots of shops and restaurants catering to a wide range of interests and tastes. Halifax is home to six universities and so has a large and vibrant student scene (closest is NSCAD our fine arts university - so many artists reside in the area). The house is located in an urban residential neighbourhood, which is diverse, friendly, colourful, generous and accepting of others.

Hi, my name is Harrison! I am currently a student at Dalhousie University, where I study medical sciences and play on the varsity volleyball team. My hobbies include music, travel, volleyball and all types of sports. During the summer, I train for beach volleyball, coach beach volleyball and work as an Airbnb host. I recently travelled through Europe and Africa and stayed at a lot of wonderful Airbnbs so I can appreciate the qualities that make up a good Airbnb experience. I tend to give my guests their privacy but I am eager to help in any way I can, offering tips, information and answering any questions that arise to ensure a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

During your stay
As the apartment allows self check in I typically don't meet guests on arrival but I'm certainly willing too if you want. I live just around the corner and if for some reason I'm not available my brother Jeff and his wife Janet are available to help if you need us.
