We are walking distance to Jazz Fest and the French Quarter!!!!!!
Our quaint, Newly Renovated Guest Cottage is nestled behind our Historic Home (originally built in 1872 as the servant's quarters) in the heart of one of New Orleans’ most Historic Neighborhoods: Esplanade Ridge / Treme. The Guest Quarters has a cool balcony that overlooks the shared courtyard, and a pool. Come make yourself home in our 2 story cottage. The bedroom is upstairs with access to the balcony and the bathroom is nestled downstairs with the kitchen and living area.

The guest house can sleep up to 4 as the queen bed sleeps 2 and the sleeper sofa downstairs also sleeps 2.

Relax in our Courtyard alongside our Greek Column lined pool, or people watch on our front porch. The courtyard is well appointed with a small Victorian bistro set and a gas grill.

Our home is in the middle of all of the Big Easy Action, uniquely situated with the highly acclaimed Treme on one side and the Historic 7th ward on the other! The guesthouse is 9-14 blocks from the French Quarter / 15-25 minute walk (depending on where in Quarter you go). Located just blocks from the infamous Frenchmen St in the Marigny; as well as being within walking distance to City Park, the New Orleans Museum of Art, local grocery stores (Conseco's and Terranova's), restaurants such as Lola’s, Nona Mia, Sante Fe, Cafe Degas, and more! Take a casual stroll or bike ride amid the live oak's in this wonderful, eclectic neighborhood abundant in Victorian and Greek Revival architectural treasures. Nice quiet unit, separate from the main home, complete privacy. Gated entry, felt very safe throughout our 3 day/2night stay. 15-20 minute walk to the French Quarter, but plenty to see along the way, including the beautiful homes along Esplanade Ave. We took Uber on the way back at night, $13 (we had heard $7, but maybe it was the late night price, who knows). Highly recommend Lil Dizzys for Sunday brunch. Only about a 5 minute walk from the house. We also ate at Buffa's one night, great entertainment, including a live jazz band. The food is ok, but the atmosphere is worth a trip. Thanks again to April and Ken for the weekend, I highly recommend their rental, and we'll definitely be back.

A great place to stay on New Orleans! The place is very nice, in a quiet neighborhood but very close to all the NOLA fun. We'd definitely go back.

April and Ken’s place is great - clean, quiet and incredibly convenient to the French Quarter. They were responsive about questions, reached out early with guidance prior to arrival, and had great notes and local tips on the counter. And being able to use bicycles put the whole stay right over the top!!! I would happily book their unit for future visits!

This place is perfect for 2. W had everything we needed for our stay in NOLA. Ken and April were very easy to work with. The home is very close to most things you would want to do. For us, Uber was the best way to get around. Bikes were available but we did not use them. Overall, excellent experience.

April and Ken let you be, they want you to have your vacation. My husband and I are "people" people.. lol We WANTED the interaction with Ken and April and we let them know that. You can have as little or as much contact with them as you want. I would say before you go get supplies or snacks.... check the cottage we went and picked up a few things that we didn't want to pack only to find they already had it! So we like previous guests left some things as well. The cottage was awesome, beautiful just like the pictures. We spent time in the pool which was very necessary when we there with the heat! The Magnolia tree in the backyard was so cool and huge gave us great shade. It's a beast to keep up with in the fall with all those leaves. I would love to see the beautiful white flowers next time we go! You are missing a great opportunity if you pass up this place. Wonderful people, Esplanade a great street, we felt very safe walking all the way to the French quarter, met some locals a few blocks down at the corner store who helped us out a lot with places to go see and where to stay away from. I forgot the name of the store ask Ken and April where we went they know. Have fun, feel safe, stay here. !!!

We are a recently married, young professional couple who now considers NOLA our heart and our home! We both are transplants and absolutely love everything about the Big Easy! We live on the historic Esplanade Ave, but love every single part of this city, from Uptown to the Marigny! We can give you great advice on where to site see, shop, bar-hop, find great eats, or guide you to hidden jewels off the beaten path for some extra local flavor! Our dream vacation begins in Greece and ends in Vanuatu...
