Camp Hornbill was set up in 2010 by residents of the village Kyar, that lies within the Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve (PCR). The PCR is also part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve in Uttarakhand India.

The space
The camp accommodations blend in with the forest setting due to the careful use of building materials such as mud and thatch, we have also ensured that our color schemes are earthy and merge with our surroundings. One of our foremost objectives is to have a low impact on our ecology thus we have adopted only low light cfl’s at common places like the dining hut, buffet hut, toilets and kitchen.

Where you’ll be

Kiari Bandobast, Uttarakhand, India

In the lap of the Himalayan foothills, surrounded by reserve forests on the bank of Khichdi River, lies Kyari a charming village perched on the periphery of Jim Corbett national park. The camp is situated 10 km from Ramnagar railway station and takes 45 minutes’ drive through a mottled forest road to reach the campsite.Being a great habitat for birds and elephants, Kyari has come up as the hottest destination for bird watchers and wild lifers.

Moreover; with the abundance of natural resources around, it provides an opportunity for a lifetime of adventures and memories in the Corbett region.
