Woody is retired and is now focusing on his deer farm. The farm was established from deer that Woody collected while he was part of the live deer capture from helicopters in Fiordland. Woody worked over twenty year’s together with Hannibal “ Sir Richard Hayes”. Orginally controlling the number of deer in Fiordland by eradication and later by live capture with net guns. This is how Woody got his first 43 female deer. From here the farm has grown to approximately a total of 200 deer at one given time. Hannibal and Woody together had a very important role in the history of deer farming in the Te Anau basin.
Joss chose to be a Chef and lived to Cook and Travel, this came unexpectedly as a Chef onboard Expedition Vessels working in the Sub Antarctic and Antarctica south of New Zealand and then in the Arctic regions in the North, across the top of Russia and The South Indian Ocean, The Atlantic and the Antarctic Peninsula. Now semi- retired and feet firmly on the ground, she helps on the Farm and with this new project of hosting guests.
