Tegwans Nest, a spacious country home nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of Balingup with stunning wood floors, open airy living areas, cosy log fire, expansive deck with breathtaking views, and a promise of rest and relaxation.

Be it relaxing on the deck with a glass of red, soaking it all in, or helping yourself to the seasonal orchards, 'a chat' to the Alpacas and sheep, an onsite massage, or simply taking long bush walks in the nearby natural forests, there is plenty to do and see.

The space
With character decks front and back, you are greeted by a spacious living area, a classic dining room, and high ceilings. There are 4 bedrooms (main en suite with a carpeted walk-in robe that can double up as a nursery) a 2nd bathroom and guest toilet, as well as a laundry. Your comfort is well catered for by a wood fire, reverse cycle AC, evaporative air, and ceiling fans. The large well-equipped kitchen is backed by a walk-in traditional "fall in love with it" farm pantry.
Stepping out on to the raised North facing front deck, there are 180 degree views into the valley, the choice of a secluded breakfast nook, and a comfy lounging area next to the BBQ.

Being an eco “Smart Farm”, we pride ourselves in being chemical and spray free, lovely fruit in season, organic where possible.

There is excellent 4G network coverage and free NBN high speed internet WiFi.

With 13 acres to enjoy, explore the Tegwans Scavenger/Treasure hunts, a favourite for all ages, the abundant bird life (60 species) including the elusive Blue Wren and chattering Kookaburra calls, and there are amazing varieties of wild flowers in season. Be it waking up to chatty bird songs or ending off with an evening stroll to the top of the hill, the perfect sundowner spot under the Karri Trees, your soul will shine brightly amongst the serenity. Or, simply put, you will have a great time😀.

Guest access
All essential items including linen and towels are provided. Tea / coffee included, with a Lavazza coffee machine (Amodo Mio coffee pods) and none other than pure rainwater to drink (filtered) and shower in.

There are cards, Lego, jigsaw puzzles, activities and board games, as well as a TV with a DVD player and DVD library to suit all ages.

Guests can help themselves to the fruit orchard in season.

Other things to note
Open water in places, but certainly a wonderful place for children/infants (under supervision). No pets unfortunately due to the Alpacas. Ask us about extra beds if required.

Living the dream, making it count... And now we have a farm! Bernadine's dream, and loving it. Highly recommend it. Loved the ease and security of Airbnb as a traveller, amazed how the world has changed with sharing business models, and now giving it a go as a host, sharing our farm with the Airbnb community. Favourite holidays are skiing, love to chat with travellers and learn about them and their travelling experiences.
