We thoroughly enjoyed our 11 nights at Honeysuckle which is located in a very peaceful village and was a great base for our holiday. Sue and Paul were excellent hosts who were keen to share their knowledge of the area, which really added to the enjoyment of our holiday. There are lovely country walks nearby but we were able to explore further afield by hiring a car, which I would recommend. Overall, an excellent experience and holiday. Kathryn and Jim Malloy

Sue and Paul and the dogs gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for a self catering stay. The village is lovely and has a restaurant and shop. We enjoyed Fish and Chip night there during our stay. There are good walks from the village and plenty of sightseeing nearby although a car is necessary. Sue and Paul were very friendly, gave us advice as they were English speaking, and we could use any part of the garden we wished. Fresh eggs and local wine awaited us on arrival. Very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

My husband and I had a wonderful week at Honeysuckle Cottage. Alaigne is a lovely small quiet town surrounded by vineyards, crops and views to the Pyrenees mountains. Sue & Paul were absolutely fantastic, they left us fresh bread & local wine on our arrival, and provided lots of great advice about things to do and see in the local area. We had everything we could possibly need in the cottage and would recommend it to our family and friends.

We, Sue n Paul are retired teachers who now live in France.
We have a great home on a private little road with a holiday cottage attached that we rent out throughout the year. From June through September it is normally booked up weekly but we do rent out daily any other time or if we have days still free during the peak season.
Great place to relax and unwind for either a week or two or a day or two.
We usually book with couples but occasionally will take a third person/child. Please ask.
