Alcabón, and its PEOPLE
You should definitely see La Almazara de Alcabón, the oldest olive oil mill in Spain and the Museum of Oil and Wine. You can also visit the Bodegas Gonzalo Valverde, where they make an excellent wine. You will love to walk in the small streets of our village and talk to the locals who are always very friendly and rustic.

GASTRONOMY
If you are looking for a place to eat well and at great prices, I recommend you La Almazara restaurant where they offer breakfast, daily menu at 9 euros and raciones (big portion tapas). On request, they also prepare paellas, "asados" and "cocidos" which are famous all over Spain (I have the price list, if you want!). Everything is delicious! In addition, you will have the opportunity to eat in the oldest oil mill in Spain. A unique experience!

SURROUNDINGS
TOLEDO: beautiful historic city. Everything is worth visiting, but especially Zocodover and the Cathedral. I recommend you to walk into the city and drive to the Parador de Toledo to enjoy the incredible view. You can also take the little tourist train from Zocodover. It's worth it!
TALAVERA DE LA REINA: Ideal to buy handmade ceramics. I advise you to walk in the Park Jardines del Prado and all along the river Tagus, near the bridge Reina Sofia.
PALACIO DE ARANJUEZ: about 50 minutes from Alcabón, but the detour is really worth it.
MADRID, the capital of Spain! You can not leave without seeing the Plaza Mayor and eat a squid sandwich, the Puerta del Sol, Zero Kilometer, without going up the tower of the building of the Post ("Correos"), La puerta de Alcalá, the Palacio Real, The Teatro Real, the temple of Debod and without taking a walk in the park Retiro.
ÁVILA: magnificent fortified city. The landscapes to go from Alcabón to Avila are impressive!
ARENAS DE SAN PEDRO: To see : Caves del Aguila "Cuevas del Águila" (I've never been there, but everyone says it's amazing) and the Natural Pools "Piscinas naturales" (to cool off on hot days).
CANYONS OF BURUJON ("Las Barrancas de Burujón"): Breathtaking landscapes.
