However, we encourage your to venture into the mountains, walk or ride the carriage roads, kayak, ocean or fresh water swim or spend a day visiting neighboring islands--there is a multitude of options, for all ages, on Mount Desert Island Maine.

The space

All new beds --very comfortable and we have maintained a well-stocked kitchen with updated bathroom--wonderful shower. There are spots to sit and enjoy the ocean throughout the house; little private porches and balcony upstairs as well as the large wraparound deck. I love to provide excellent hospitality and a comfortable experience. I spent a lot of time between Vermont and Maine and enjoy sharing what I am fortunate enough to wake up to, in both Maine and Vermont. I respect privacy and don't need to know your business however, if you need any suggestions on where to eat, visit, nice hikes etc, I will be happy to offer what I know! Vermont: Middlebury is a great little town and there are wonderful drives near and further out. Burlington is only about 50 minutes north and of course, it's Vermont--lots to do and see. Maine: My siblings are I love Maine and have been going there for many years. We have recently built a new house which we hope you will enjoy!
