The Old Dairy is pet friendly 2 bedroom self contained accommodation adjacent to one of the oldest houses in the district. Five minutes drive from the heart of Orange, it is a short drive to the vineyards and fine dining for which Orange is renowned.

Your booking includes use of the tennis court and fire pit. Well behaved pets are welcome, just check our pet rules.

We have implemented disinfectant processes and follow AirBNB cleaning guidelines to combat concerns about the Coronavirus.

The space
The Old Dairy was once part of a busy 1930's commercial dairy. It is now freshly renovated fully self-contained 2 bedroom accommodation, detached from the main residence. The Old Dairy retains many features from its' rural origins. It has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay.

The Old Dairy will comfortably accommodate two couples or a family of 4-5. There is a queen bed, double bed and a small single bed most suited to a child. If you’re looking for other sleeping options please contact us when you book, with your request. We will try to accommodate you if we can but if you are a group of 3 or more adults wanting to all sleep separately, this may not be the place for you.

Guests are free to enjoy a game of tennis on the adjacent court or the charms of an open fire in the outdoor fire pit, at no extra charge.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to use one carport space for off street parking. If you have more than one car please park behind each other so that you are not blocking the circular driveway.

The tennis court, firepit and barbecue can be made ready with advance notice, if you’d like to use them.

There are many features of the old farm including a bluestone outbuilding which was the very first Dairy. You are welcome to wander around - these areas are a work in progress which we are gradually renovating.

Tennis gear is stored on the back verandah of the Old Dairy. Other toys are stored on the verandah of the bluestone outbuilding near the tennis court. If you make use of them, please just put them back when you’re finished.

Other things to note
Firewood is supplied for the firepit, but if you’d like to enjoy more than one fire during your stay there is a $20 charge for additional wood. The firepit cannot be used in bushfire season.

If you let us know in advance that you’d like to play tennis or use the firepit, we’ll make sure it’s all ready for you, on your arrival. We supply everything you need at no extra charge.

Your hosts Jill and Kurt are close by in the original 1880s homestead. If you feel like a chat, Jill would love to talk to you about her childhood years growing up here. Kurt worked in the local wine industry and is always willing to share his local knowledge.

You may come across our 2 boys, Max and Alex, enjoying a game in the yard or with our cat Jinx. We are all friendly but will leave you in peace and quiet, if that's your preference.
