Watch the ocean or a movie from the upstairs living area of this beautiful two bedroom, one bath unit. Or better yet, get outside, fly a kite, build a fire or hike down to the beach from the neighborhood. Later, make a meal together or dine out. Afterward, snuggle in and sleep like a baby.

Beautiful Newport is a great place to surf, splash in the waves, or go clamming on the beach. You'll be just a short drive to numerous beaches, eclectic downtown shops, cafes, and seafood restaurants.

The space
If you time it right, whales can often be seen spouting by the rocks in the ocean from the lawn, deck or windows.

There is beach access from our neighborhood via a rugged path (may require rappelling) to the beach. If you’re not up to rappelling, you can walk north on the highway to Moolack Beach (1/2 mile) or a short drive will get you to many beaches/view points.

Lawn games including ladderball, volley ball, badminton, etc., are available.

Fire pit for hot dogs, toasting marshmallows or making smores (skewers included). Please check that fires are allowed in the area before burning.

There is a gas BBQ, lawn chairs and beach chairs for your use and enjoyment.

If you're a sun lover, my place is the south facing side as shown in the photos.

If you want to stay in and storm watch. The TV has the Sling blue package or is ready for streaming your favorite apps. There is also a DVD/Blu Ray player for watching movies.

Also as seen in the photos, the master has a king size bed where the front bedroom has a queen. There is one bath with a tub/shower combo. Note 8/7/22, hope to remove the tub/shower combo and install a walk in shower. And, there is a full size washer and dryer should you need to wash a load after a trip to the beach.

And for planning purposes, I stock laundry essentials, various soaps, tissue and other paper products.

Please note, the city has a strict maximum of six individuals (this includes guests of guests) inside and out.

My place is in a small community of seven homes on the beach side of Hwy 101 North of Newport. There is a rugged path down to the beach from my neighborhood which could require rappelling. Or you could walk North of my neighborhood 1/2 mile to Moolack beach.
