Our house is clean and comfortable. We provide everything you need to cook with fully stocked kitchen, and extras like big pots for an outside seafood boil, and both a gas grill and a charcoal grill are available.

This is a small fishing community, not a beach tourist area. There is lots of commercial (shrimp, crabs, oyster) and recreational fishing (offshore/inshore) in the area.

I get a lot of inquiries about how far is it the French Quarter. It's going to be 1 hr and 30 min more or less depending on traffic and time of day....from the house to the French Quarter. Most people don't want to drive back and forth that far.

You would be far better off enjoying Mardi Gras in Houma. And I'll give you pointers on when and where to go. Nola is not the only game in town.
