Classic old New Orleans "shotgun" house. Vintage, rustic living. Not glamorous. Not a hotel. Cracks in the walls, old doors. Located just a few blocks from the French Quarter and only two blocks from "The Marigny" and a short walk to Frenchmen Street with live jazz and blues bars and clubs playing all through the night.

Isobel's place is very unique. I love all the vintage stuff and the bed was super soft and comfy. Personally I did not encounter anything bad in the neighborhood but it looks abit dodgy, so you have to be alert. It's a great location, near to food and cool bars!

The house is a little beyond Bohemian, frankly. I'm certainly not precious about the things, and the description of wear and tear in the house is accurate, but there is a long long way to go for cleanliness. the washer and dryer were full of dirty clothes, there were no towels wh…

The description of the house has been updated since we booked it. It was very bare bones and not the cleanest. The beds themselves were comfortable and clean, however, although they were creaky. There are some improvements that are needed, but if you're on a tight budget and don'…

I grew up in Sweden but America is second home now after nearing a decade here. I lived and travelled many places. I had this house since 2012 and it's been one large project, one of the biggest and longest I've ever done. I love victorian architecture and interior aswell as 1940…
