Big Sky Apartment is attached to our lovely lake-house in a great part of Tekapo. It is close to everything but quiet. There are stunning views of the mountains. We have Sky TV and free Wifi for your enjoyment. The apartment has its own separate entrance and a small outdoor patio including a table/chairs. Inside the apartment is a lounge-kitchenette, king bedroom and bathroom. It is doubled glazed, has heating/air conditioning and is equipped with everything traveler's need. Relax. Enjoy.

The space
Big Sky Apartment is sunny, warm and carpeted. It has double glazed windows and heating/air conditioning. We have Sky TV and free Wifi. The bedroom is comfortable with a king sized bed. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, vanity, heated towel rail, bathroom heater and extractor fan. All your linen and essential toiletries are supplied. The kitchen area has two stove hotplates, a microwave, fridge and sink. There is a fry-pan, two pots, various kitchen equipment, toaster, and coffee and tea making facilities. We provide some breakfast, snack and fridge items and tea, coffee and sugar. The patio is private and sheltered. Parking is on the road side grass verge directly in front of the apartment. Self check-in using the key lock-box. Make yourselves at home. We hope you enjoy your stay in Lake Tekapo.
CLEANING: We are taking extra care to clean and disinfect the apartment between each guest hosting.

Where you’ll be

Lake Tekapo, Canterbury, New Zealand

The neighbourhood is quiet but central. We are located a short five-ten minute walk to the main area of town. Our view is of Mt John, fantastic mountain vistas and The Cairns Farmyard, where you can feed llamas, sheep, rabbits, chickens and Whiskey the enormous pig. Quite often there are rabbits and ducks seen at dusk and in the morning. We do not have lake views but are one street away from the lake.

My husband Graham and I are a farming couple 50+ living happily on our hill country farm with sheep, beef cattle and red deer at Mt Nimrod. We have two young farm dogs called Bluey and Sue. We enjoy the outdoors and farm life. It is our pleasure to share our favourite places with people from all over. We may or may not be at the house during your stay. We farm and Vicki also teaches part time. However, you will be able to self check in when you arrive by getting the key from the key lock-box.
