Enjoy a stay in this comfortable, spacious and bright chalet like condominium located in the White Mountains. Hiking, golf and fun filled ski resorts are only minutes away. A deck is located on the upper level and from the bottom level there is access to the back lawn, a Weber grill and the swimming pool. The open floor plan on the main level allows you to be all together or in smaller groups cooking, playing a game at the dining table or watching a movie.

The space
The loft bedroom has a closet with hangers that guests may use. The baby gates, a gate to surround the wood burning stove, bed rails to make the full or queen sized beds safer for children and a pack and play are also located in this closet. The toy box is up there along with games and children’s books. The baby monitor is in one of the drawers of the bureau in the loft.

Guest access
The pool which requires a key, it’s hanging on the fridge, is shared by people in all 20 units. Even so, it’s not a busy place and you may be the only people using it!
The large deck, accessed from the upper level is shared with our neighbors, but we rarely find it a problem.

Other things to note
The laundry area on the lower level is locked unless your stay is a week or more.

Because the wood burning stove works so efficiently, it isn’t necessary to use more than 2 pieces of split wood to start a fire and no need to stuff the stove to keep it burning. It’s actually possible to have too much heat.

In the event of a snow storm where the parking lot will have to be plowed, move your car all the way to one side of the lot. Permanent residents may already have done this so you should follow suit otherwise pick a side. The plowing company will plow the cleared half of the lot and shovel the walkways. Then please move your car to the plowed side. They'll come back later to complete the job.

A plastic shovel is in the entry way so you can shovel the outside landing and stairs if you need to. Thank you.

There is a toy box filled with blocks and balls upstairs in the loft and an abundance of family games as well. There is also a Wii system for the TV with lots of different game choices. Located in the ski closet, the small shed located in front of the condo, there are some pool toys, balls and lawn games.

In addition to the pool, other available outdoor activities include horseshoe pits, located on the lawn to the left of the pool near the drive (horseshoes should be in the pits), a volleyball net on the right hand side of the pool (volleyball is in the ski closet) and a basketball hoop inside the tennis courts (the ball should be nearby). The tennis courts themselves are no longer safe to play on, we apologize and be careful when you’re shooting hoops.

There is a Weber charcoal grill outside the door from the big bedroom on the lower level. A charcoal starter and a grill cleaning tool are located in the cubbies. The grill may not be used on the deck or on the wooden walkways around the condo.

Look for fans all over the place to be used when it’s hot and sticky or to blow warm air where you want it.

In the event of a chilly night, there are electric heaters in the bathroom and the 2 bedrooms on the lower level.

Pool towels are located in one of the cubbies in the entranceway.

There are closets in each of the bedrooms on the lower level which are locked. We keep some personal things there but each room contains a built in clothes rack with hangers for your use.

TELEVISION

Both TVs access programming thru a ROKU device. Locate the ROKU remote and push the power button to turn on the TV. The first screen will say ROKU as it’s booting up, then the guest sign in page with a calendar. Mark your departure date on the calendar and then the Home Page will appear. That will contain icons for all the streaming apps. To use your own accounts, Netflix, Prime, etc, sign in with your user name and password and go. The ROKU will automatically delete that info on your departure day. There are also many free apps to choose from. Enjoy!

The wood burning stove is set up. Light the newspaper from the side door Adjust the flue using the lever next to smoke stack (See image)
Adjust door wheel (clockwise closes, counter-clockwise opens) if you want more air into the fire (See image)

To re-lay a fire:
Newspaper and fire starters are located in the dry sink between the couches. Use 2 fire starters on the bottom, newspaper on top of that and add 1-2 logs (caution: more than 2 logs will make an almost unbearable amount of heat
