Welcome to Newport and your little home away from home. It's comfortable and cozy for you! It's a perfect place to breathe the ocean air; close to everything Newport...but without the crowds! If Fido behaves...Fido is welcome! Our cottage is one of seven in our little community. You can see the ocean from the cottage, but it is not ocean front. We do have a killer private beach trail for athletes and trail hikers only. No cleaning fee but leave everything clean/tidy for us please.

This is a 7 cottage retreat just off Hwy 101. Road noise won't bother you inside as we have double windows. This was once was a small writers destination known as anchorage resort. Twelve years ago it was subdivided for private ownership. Of the seven cottages, several are second homes...and a few are also for vacationers.

Pretty much retired and living the dream...right here on the Oregon Central Coast known as Newport. I am always up for a good adventure and love greeting people from all over the world who come to visit our spectacular region.

During your stay

We live in the duplex next door, but we also travel. We are Mr and Mrs Santa incognito, and we know some great places our locals like. We are happy to share Newport with you, or we can respect your privacy like you are on a honeymoon! It will not hurt our feelings either way.
