We are just down the road from the Hogback covered bridge. Winterset is the birthplace of John Wayne and has a great dedicated museum. Great shops around the courthouse square. And only 40 minutes to West Des Moines shopping. Winterset airport is just down the road where the Des Moines Sky divers meet.
