Surrounded by vivid centenary gardens, the two-story mother house embraces 4 elegant new apartments designed for utmost comfort and a home-feeling experience. Each apartment accommodates 2+1 people, has a spacious bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room, and access to 2 private balconies.

The space

Where you’ll be

Funchal, Madeira, Portugal

Lively by daylight and quiet by night, Quintinha Rocha is situated in a safe and peaceful neighborhood that used to be inhabited by the richest people on the island who, back then, lived in big luxurious houses and rode their horses and oxen down and up the hill.

The well known road "Caminho de Santo António" used to be the only regional connection between Funchal (city center) and Curral das Freiras (mountainous interior of the island). Up to today it is still commonly used by locals.

Just across the street, you'll find the famous shop Chá-Bom where the traditional Maderan sweets are produced such as sugarcane cake and cookies, fennel candies and chocolates. You can easily get your last minute gifts here and at the local price.
