Location

McKenzie Bridge, Oregon, United States

McKenzie Bridge is a special place, surrounded by nature, the McKenzie River and serenity. The O'Leary House is a few blocks from the highway, down rural streets with a low-speed limit. It is a short walk to the beautiful Horse Creek and the McKenzie River is close as well. The community is a quiet one as well.
The O'Leary House is named after one of our favorite trails in the area, O'Leary Trail. Originally built by the CCC in the 1930's, it's beautiful but intermediate/advanced level mountain bike ride that can be done as a loop or shuttled.

Melanie & Lawrence Fisher We try to spend as much time possible outdoors on our bikes, snowboarding, camping, SUPing, and meeting people from all over the world. Both individual business owners, we love to travel and live between Bend and McKenzie Bridge, two of our favorite places in Oregon. Melanie is the previous owner of Cog Wild Bicycle Tours in Bend, Oregon. She also helped convince the Forest Service to allow local mountain bikers revamp the O'Leary Trail in McKenzie from being overgrown and unrideable to it's current state of amazingness. Hence naming the McKenzie house after the trail.. You can find Melanie on (Hidden by Airbnb) at part.time.nomad. Life is good!
