We are artists and designers and have enjoyed transforming this camp into our forever creative open concept home. Our home is only 50 feet from the water and we get to also enjoy a green lawn going right up to the waters edge and wooded privacy from neighbors & 6 acres from the road, & 350 ft of lake frontage, a deck, porch, hot tub, boat launch, fire pit. During the Fall season enjoy our 2 kayaks, a paddle boat, and an Old Town Canoe. We are proud to only clean with non toxic organic products.

The space
We are very fortunate to live on a large 6 acre lake front lot with woods on either side of the property and 350 feet of lake frontage! Our lake has no public access and about 1/3d of the lake frontage is a wildlife conservation area. It is very peaceful and quiet, and the lake is very clean with a sandy bottom. I swim alone every morning, and often kayak at sunset. We have eagles, loons, and herons and bass. It is also only 20 minutes to Wolfeboro, and less than an hour to Portsmouth and the ocean as well. In 10 minutes we also enjoy the Rails to Trails bike bath that goes along the lakes, which we walk, run or bike many times a week and takes you into Wolfeboro and Lake WInnepesaukee. We appreciate being on a trail where no vehicles are aloud. The town of Wolfeboro is the oldest resort in the country and has wonderful quaint shops and great restaurants. We love the quiet and the beauty here, and when we want there are so many activities to enjoy, year round. The home we have restored has an open concept space design with floor to ceiling windows which makes you feel like you are outside. We are happy to share this with you.

Guest access
You have the entire home to yourselves, enjoy!
(sometime we work in our barn studio on the property, but will always give you your peace and privacy)

Other things to note
We are 15 minutes from Wolfeboro the most famous summer resort town in the country- lots to enjoy. There is small town of Sanbornville with a grocery store, a few places to eat less than 10 minutes away. The best rail to trail for walking, cross country skiing or biking is 10 minutes away- leads you along the lakes right into Wolfeboro. Spectacular! In winter you can access the 7 lakes snowmobile trail right from our door as well.

Our lake is big enough to boat on but small enough to be peaceful, quiet and private. Hardly anyone even knows about our lake. The water is clean, the bottom is sandy not weedy, the homes are few and far apart and the everyone is quiet and respectful of each other. 1/3d of the lake is conservation land as well.Sweet!

Brian and I have enjoyed this private no public access lake in the Lakes region of New Hampshire for 15 years now. The lake has a sandy bottom, it is SO quiet and we even have a view of protected wildlife area, not to mention loons and abundant fish. There are no camps nearby just private woods on either side, and an expansive view of the lake. Tons of wildlife, and the best bike path in the state 10 minutes from us. Great fishing, warm swimming, kayaking, canoeing, camp fires and relaxing in our hot tub. The lake is big enough for motor boats, but not the noisy big lakes nearby where you hear everyone else. In the winter you can cross country ski on the lake, or on the rails to trails path which is groomed. You can skate on the lake when its frozen in January or you can go public skating at Abenaki 15 minutes away. You can access the 7 Lakes snowmobile path right from our property too! You can also snowshoe on the lake or the nearby groomed trail. You can make day trips to ski at Abenaki (15 minutes, Cannon Mt, Gunstock, Wildcat, Bretton Woods, Carnmore, etc all about 1 - 2 hours away. Make a camp fire after and soak in the hot tub and gaze at the stars. We are artists and designers and avid travellers and have enjoyed transforming this camp into an open concept home with oversized windows, wood floors, and white walls and pops of color in our art collection and pottery. What makes this house unique This is a home, not a camp. You have everything you wish for in a home, but all the quiet and escape of a camp, and its big enough to have your whole crew here.
