Accommodation on the first floor in renovated farmhouse (mq. 115) consists one matrimonial, one double/matrimonial, one matrimonial and single bed, one sofa-bed, three bathrooms, kitchen and terrace.

The house, which we called Moment of peace, is in Cocconato an ideal place for nature lovers, it is the starting point for visits to the surrounding art treasures, wine tours and walks in the woods among romanesque churches, votive pillars and vineyards.

House surrounded by greenery in Cocconato, known for its micro-climate, culture and gastronomy, good base to visit the surrounding art treasures .


We restored the house in 2013 according to the principles of energy saving and eco-sustainability. We ventured to paint flowers and fruit on the walls to never stop enjoying nature.
The rooms open onto a terrace where you can have your meals and offer and to watch the flight of birds and buzzards often.
We are only 800 m. from the center of Cocconato where you will find a post office, a bank, a pharmacy , a supermarket, restaurants and wine bars , making it a country for connoisseurs.
Depart from the town center by public transport in the morning and in the evening for Chivasso , Turin and Asti , and we can give you a ride in the car to stop .

How to get to us:
Check in from Turin : Turin-Milan motorway , exit at East Chivasso ( toll-free) drive along the motorway slip road heading towards Casale , until the traffic light Lauriano . Turn right and continue until Cocconato . Arriving in the village you will see on the left a large open space with gravel, to use parking lot, followed by a small picnic area . Turn left on Strada Vai and after about 500 m . you will find left Strada San Grato ( dirt road with gravel ) We live in the second house .
Check in from Asti : Road to Chivasso to resort Rocco . Turn right to the village . In the center of the village continue towards Tonengo . At the first intersection turn right on Strada Vai. Continue as above.
Check in from Casale : Take the main road in the direction of Val Cerrina Chivasso up to loc. Cavallo Grigio . Turn left and follow the signs to Cocconato . In the center of town, go right towards Tonengo . At the first intersection turn right on Strada Vai. Continue as above.
Check in from Chieri - Castelnuovo Don Bosco continue until Gallareto . Turn left up to loc. Rocco . Continue as for arrival from Asti.

Staying in Cocconato means enjoy the panoramic view that its position geographical allows, looking "beyond"; means to find oneself during walks in the woods and surrounding area, it means surprising the beauty of the wild flowers that still exist despite industrialization. Cherry, apple, peach and pear trees in flower leaves speechless.
Those who love history and art can be documented on the website of Comune di Cocconato.

Eccoci! Io e Carlo, il mio co-host in airbnb. Avrete capito che mi piace vivere nella natura, vedere i fiori sbocciare, le piante crescere; mi piace anche pensare che la vita possa essere bella o che noi possiamo renderla tale, che la gentilezza non è cosa di altri tempi, che il desiderio di conoscere cose, idee e persone faccia vivere bene. Anche Carlo ama la natura ed ha accettato la fatica della coltivazione, compensato dalla soddisfazione di vedere la bellezza delle piante fiorite e dai dolci e succosi frutti. In passato ho visitato alcuni paesi dell'Europa inseguendo il fascino dell'arte. Successivamente visitando progetti di solidarietà internazionale ho conosciuto il Brasile caldo e travolgente, ed ho vissuto a Maputo, nel Mozambico avvicinandone il dolore e la straordinaria voglia di vivere. Quando viaggio amo godere delle atmosfere del paesaggio e delle bellezze artistiche, amo fermarmi a contemplare i colori, le linee, le forme. Amo la Toscana e l'Umbria regioni famose per la bellezza del paesaggio e per i tesori artistici, ma anche le nostre colline sono fantastiche e ci sono numerosi tesori d'arte da visitare. Amo sedermi sulla panca sotto la betulla a leggere. I libri che preferisco, tra i molti, sono "Ad un cerbiatto somiglia il mio amore" di David Grossman, "Un'altro giro di giostra" e "La fine è il mio inizio" di TizianoTerzani. Amo la musica, ma non sono un'esperta. Amo cucinare; il piatto che mi riesce meglio sono gli agnolotti e tutti i primi. During your stay

We live on the ground floor , and we are always present, but the houses are independent. Obviously if our basic knowledge of English, French, Portuguese we allow, will be happy to know you better.
We are a couple who have chosen to live in the outdoors enjoying the silence, the sounds, the smells, but also the hard work and engagement of working the land also questioned by the economic crisis we are going through. The knowledge that it needs to change lifestyles and consumption has let us to cultivate a kitchen garden and orchard with the results that we
invite you to see and taste (yum!)
We can accompany those who wish to visit the orchard , the garden and our various activities.
We do not accept dogs because conflict with the neighbor's dogs
