The space
Sunny Old Corner is located on the second floor of a street-front building, built by the French during their colonial period. The house now has its entire inner space remodeled, bringing a fresh, modern soul into a calm and ancient body.

- Going into a small alley, guests can follow the stairs to the second floor, where Sunny Old Corner is located. During the short short walk, the true life of “Hanoians” slowly reveals itself.

- Unlike any other places in the city, loft-styled Sunny Old Corner catches a whole lot of sunlight in the daytime.

Don't matter if it's sunny, rainy or windy; the house is a cozy nest that ensures you comfort and relaxing time when staying in.

- The first level of the house is where our: living room, kitchen and bathroom are located.

Kitchen is fully equipped with an induction stove top, a medium-sized fridge, pots, pans and utensils.

Bathroom has everything you need, is newly remodeled, and always kept clean.

Living room is beautifully spacious and highlighted with table cloths, pillows, indoor plants and especially, a swing chair that we put up by ourselves. Chill on the swing chair, read a book while vibing with the music played from our sound system is something that makes Sunny Old Corner ain't like no others!


- Sunny Old Corner has two balconies designed specially to give guests great angels to overwatch the city. Our guests love to watch Hanoi comes to life while sitting there, with a cup of hot coffee, early in the morning.

- Flooring is a combination of old-fashion-inspired tiles and hardwood. Modern materials help with look, and conveniences; but the tiles help us keep the “notes", the “signature patterns" of life back-in-the-days.

- On the mezzanine is our private bedroom with a double bed and two closets. A second bed is available UPON REQUEST, so please let us know!

The view from our bedroom is also one of the highlighters of the house. Such a view is truly hard to find, especially when living in the middle of the bustle of Hanoi.


***WHAT’S AROUND?***

Sunny Old Corner is surrounded by a lot of famous street food vendors that have been in the city for generations.

- Only a few houses away from the apartment, is the legendary chicken noodle soup called “ Pho Ga Ba Loc ” (which literally means Chicken Noodle Soup by Madam Loc). This place has been open for about 45 years, and it’s quite famous in town. Your Hanoi experience cannot be completed without an authentic bowl of Pho!

- Also, there are: beef noodle soup, sticky rice, eel vermicelli soup, banh mi (bread),... within walking distances.

- Oldest coffee street in Hanoi is 1 minute away from the loft. The street is full of quality cafes. Besides that, Thai, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese restaurants are also located there.

- The Old Quarter can be reached within 20 minutes of walk or 5-6 minutes by Grab/Be.

- 5-7 minutes of walk to beautiful Thong Nhat Park with lots of locals, a lake, trees, and air to breathe. Opposite the park, there is another gorgeous lake.
- 5 minutes of walk to most famous mall center in the city (Vincom)

- 2 minutes of walk to bus stops on main streets.

Guest access
House Access is only available for Registered Guests that book via Airbnb. NO OUTSIDE GUESTS ALLOWED. This is to ensure safety and security for your own stay, as well as for our neighbors'. Please review this policy carefully before booking.

Once booked, guests will have private access of the whole apartment.

PLEASE NOTICE:

- We do have a short alleyway and a few narrow stairs before reaching the apartment. Please consider if this is convenient for you.

- This is a self check-in apartment. Therefore, it’s best suitable for guests without a lot of luggages (just to avoid you moving the bags up and down the stairs). However, if you really love to stay with us, please reach out. I can try to arrange a staff to come and help you carry your luggages ^^

- Check-in is from 3pm - 11pm.


- We do not have a private parking area. There are parking lots with fees nearby.

Other things to note
- House is Not suitable for heavy smoking/drinking or partying.

- When moving in the house or up/down the stairs, please be mindful to keep the noise down, keep the area clean (no littering!).

Born and raised in the busy Old Quarter, my childhood was filled with days running on the curbsides, playing hide and seek in between the trees, seeing all the tourists wander around, and feeling their excitement when visiting my town. I could tell. I could tell from their eyes, their fingers pointing here and there. And I could also tell from their voices. I could not understand a word. But the tone in their voices...They were happy. Growing up, I am greatly affected by the life around me. I have a big touch of Bohemian in my fashion, with a little American-active type of personalty, sometimes I like to braid and do my hair like the way Thai people do (they're super talented!), but sometimes I'd like to go all "soft" and "cute" like my Korean friends ^^! ...all from the experience with different cultures since I was little. But being a Vietnamese girl is always what I am proud of the most. Knowing the things foreigners/visitors need to know about my H-town, and knowing what local people need for a getaway in their own city, I have put in a lot of time and work into building up a space, where I call a modern dream home, full of sunlight, full of my Bohemian touch, full of my activeness and freedom; but more importantly, full of my accents as an Old-Quarter born and raised Hanoi girl. Besides that, I have a small fashion shop running for a few years now, all fueled by my passion for fashion. I also love to travel. I love to put myself into a position of a tourist as well.
